"i'm not gonna lie" for March

BOOOOOO! i've been missing in (blog) action. MY BAD. i have yet to figure out how to balance a new relationship with all my social networking activities. 26er still doesn't understanding why i'm always on my iPhone4 while he's around. silly boy! it's cuz my iPhone4 is the love of my life! LOL!

here's my 1st blog post after an unwanted blog break:

my "i'm not gonna lie" for March...

i'm not gonna lie, i'm annoyed at myself for not keeping up with my blog and the blogs i follow. i want to do it! but i've been sucking lately with my leisure time management skills. if you have any tips on how to manage this, please let me know!

last week, 26er pointed out our 2 month anniversary... wow, really? never in my life in any relationship have i ever made note of a 2 month mark. i'm not gonna lie, i'm waiting for him to get sick of me so he won't want to see me everyday. damn it 26er! hurry up and get annoyed with me. LOL!

i'm not gonna lie, i still want to be with 26er, but i don't want to see him EVERYDAY! he's annoyed me frequently this past month, but i finally braved up and confronted him about it. now let's see if he's mature enough to work on it.

shame on me! i'm dating a 26-year-old! what do i really expect from a guy who is 26 years old?! his behaviour is fairly typical of a 26 year old (and an only child). i'm not gonna lie, i shouldn't be complaining if i've decided to be in a relationship with a 26-year-old!

the weirdest thing has happened to me... i haven't really been drinking. WTF? often i've been having only 1 alcoholic beverage in a sitting. AND i don't mind. AND i don't care to have more. AND i've been nursing the 1 drink. AND i've been completely sober when i'm out OUT! i'm not gonna lie, i'm shocked! i think this may be a sign to go on a drinking hiatus.

fine fine. i kinda lied. i did have a little more than 2 glasses of wine last night. i'm not gonna lie, i enjoyed it. i believe this may be a sign to therefore go on a drinking hiatus from everything BUT wine. haha.

i'm not gonna lie, i probably haven't been drinking an abundance of alcohol lately because i've been putting too many other things in my mouth! such as...

peach bellini (the best bellini ever) at Earls Restaurant

peanut butter chocolate mini cupcake from Starbucks

oooooh... aaaahhhh... mmmmm... yay!

oh boy it's Sunday already... which means Monday is tomorrow... which means tomorrow is the start of yet another work week. i enjoy my job, but oh how i wish i was a non-working millionaire! i wouldn't care about Mondays. actually, no days of the week would matter. i truly believe i'd make a fantastic millionaire! i would volunteer, donate money, spend money on my family and friends. don't i sound like a pretty close to perfect millionaire to you??!

Lindt chocolate ice cream - I SWEAR 1 of the BEST ice cream flavours EVER!

"the cookie" at Shoeless Joe's: fresh from the oven baked cookies served in a skillet, topped w/ ice cream, chocolate chips and drizzled w/ caramel and chocolate sauce

Lindt chocolate ice cream cake (not as good as the ice cream on it's own, but still tasty. the ice cream alone is the best because you need to appreciate the Lindt flavour w/o it being masked with other goodies

judging by the above pics, you probably think i haven't been true to my food rules (found here), but in reality i have been with the exception of the potato rule. i swear, starting today, i'll only have fried potatoes once a week!

yes i know, it's about time i post about Vegas... but to be honest, ever since i've been back, i've been enjoying being pretty lazy. i've been sleeping a little better, been more relaxed at work, just been chilling, taking things day-by-day. i guess leaving the city and taking a break from real life really does help!

Vegas was fun and exactly what i needed. the highlight of my trip would be the Food and Wine All-Star Weekend hosted by Gail Simmons and featured top Chefs. here is why...

• on the way to the reception Joe and i found dollar bills on the ground. 
• the food was fantastic, amazing and phenomenal! the 1st bite alone was worth every penny. 
• we discovered the best drink EVER, a vodka-lime-cucumber-dill concoction. 
• we both won $300 EACH with the $100 comp gaming chip that came with our ticket.
• the ticket was only $125. therefore our tickets were free and we were paid to attend this fantastic event!

the 2nd highlight of my trip was discovering tokyo teas! too bad this cocktail is not available in Canada. actually, it's probably for the better... tokyo teas are dangerous!
