5 pet peeves.
1. the pre-bail. the "pre-bail" happens a few days prior to the day you made plans. it's when little hints and excuses are voiced leading up to the plans and then on "the day", that person bails. i don't understand why people make plans and then do the pre-bail. just be straight up. if you don't want to go or think you can't go anymore then say so without sugar coating the process and dragging out the actual bail. just so you know, most people have concluded you're going to bail. there's no need to be flaky.
2. personal news announced impersonally. i recently wrote a post regarding this. click here if you want the deets.
3. pda (public display of affection). this is probably my oldest pet peeve. i say this because back in high school i used to go to the library with a friend and her bf at the time. i remember when she had to use the washroom, he would have to walk her to the door (holding hands of course) and then have a full blown make out session with her in front of the door. i remember thinking, what the eff?! the toilet isn't going to swallow her up. she'll be back in a few minutes.
4. traffic on days and times there shouldn't be. i believe traffic should not exist on a Sunday or really late at night. why the eff should there be? it's not a work day and it's not rush hour so we should be cruising on the roads and highways.
5. people who clip their nails in public places. seriously? that's just f*ckin gross and disgusting. why would people feel the need to cut their nails at work and not wait til they get home is beyond me...

PDA is a really unnecessary and inconsiderate annoyance so I'm with you on that!
I have a friend who actually had someone borrow his scissors at work so that he could trim his toenails at his desk 2 cubicles away. Some people just have no shame.
Scissors & toe nails? Omg! That's at a whole different level! Nasty!
I totally agree with you for #1, 2 and 5. #3 and 4 don't bother me so much.
As for #1, if your friends need to bail, they should just be straight up, there's no need to beat around the bush with friends. That's just so annoying.
You know how I feel about #2. It's also really annoying especially when it's good friends sharing the news over a text or social media.
#5 is just downright disgusting!!!!
#1,2 and 5! 100% i'm not opposed to pda's but people need to know when to get a room or sucking faces (not a peck on the lips) and fondling when there's people in front of you - HELLO!!!
Leesh & Reni: regarding #3, i'm talking about full on making out with the feeling each other attached. it really does make me uncomfortable. it's too much affection to see for me. LOL! that same high school friend had to wear a turtle neck in the summer time because every spot on her nect had a hickey - oh i'm not exaggerating by the way. I mean EVERY spot on her neck! her whole neck was purple. i'd say she had a least 50 hickies at a time!
